Remote (United States - Preference for candidates in Eastern or Central time zones)

SMART IT People has a contract opportunity for a Boomi Data Steward to be a key member of our client's growing Boomi team.  

Qualifications / Requirements 

• Requires 1 year of experience working with Boomi.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data normalization, and data translation.
• Solid understanding of web API technologies and design patterns.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to find creative solutions. 

Preferred Experience 

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Boomi technologies including AtomSphere, Master Data Hub (MDH), iPaaS, and Event Streams. 
• Experience integrating via Boomi with Databases, Salesforce CRM, CQP, ERP, ServiceNow, and/or Billing systems.

Job description:

This role is an extension of our client's data quality initiatives, which go beyond the Technology organization. We want someone who naturally embraces an authentic team approach and effectively defines, orchestrates, and navigates the Master Data ecosystem, yielding better, faster data quality and successful delivery of the relevant business outcomes the Operations teams expect. 

Integral to the Enterprise Architecture & Software Development team, and the  business as a whole.

Routine Stewardship Tasks

·  Oversee all Master Data domain data in the Golden Records page.

·  View, manage and resolve Quarantine entries.

·  Build, deploy, and manage within a multi-Molecule architecture in Boomi AtomSphere.

·  Work closely with Engineers to develop solutions that integrate seamlessly across multiple platforms, focusing on scalability and efficiency.

·  Conduct routine maintenance and optimization of workflows to ensure high performance and adapt to changing business needs.

·  Provide real-time troubleshooting and technical support

·  Maintains data consistency and integrity.

·  Documents processes, knowledge, and incident resolution guides.

·  Shares knowledge with core team members for cross training purposes. 

Non-Routine Stewardship Tasks

·  Unlink golden records from source entities.

·  Perform domain data cleanup tasks, such as manually end-dating active golden records, restoring end-dated (inactive) golden records, or purging end-dated golden records. 

·  Export domain golden records.

·  Stage batches of incoming source entities in corresponding MDH repositories.
