9 months contract + potential to covert to FT

Remote in NC (Preference - Durham, NC)

SMART IT People has a contract opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst in Durham, NC.  This position can be worked remotely with ability to visit office in Durham, NC on an as needed basis preferred.

Required skills:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Strong communication skills
• 5 to 10 years of hands on experience
• Business analysis skills (speak to the business, understand and extract requirements)
• Write clear business requirements in the form of user stories
• Jira experience

Desired skills:

• Any type of commercial lab experience
• Biology lab (not Pharma)
• Molecular lab
• Confluence software
• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences

Job description:

• Taking direction from a senior analyst. 
• Assisting with a project / increase in volume. 
• Will be assigned work, writing user story requirements. 
• Helping to analyze spreadsheets with business requirements. 
• Data analyst.
