Huntersville, NC (Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite)

SMART IT People has an exciting contract to hire opportunity for a NetSuite Analyst to gather functional requirements and perform production support.  Will consider analyst or production support experience but preference is for both.  This is with a growing company in Huntersville, NC (North of Charlotte).  Must be able to work onsite at least 3 days a week.  

NetSuite Functional Analyst

Our client's rapid growth has created an urgent need for a strong NetSuite functional analyst to support their end users. The client is looking for an individual with broad NetSuite functional skills to both support their production environment and gather requirements across the business functions for new requests and some small projects. This individual will work closely with functional leaders, end users and technical team members. We need someone who can work across business areas and with business subject matter experts.

The position will be reporting to the ERP Manager and working closely with the rest of the ERP team resolving incidents and delivering value to the company.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Own production support tickets (open to resolved) while utilizing technical team when needed and leadership team for escalation when needed.  
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand, gather and document business requirements. Work with customers to configure NetSuite to meet their specific business needs.
• Collaborate with the team and project manager / Scrum Master to coordinate efforts and close any gaps that are of the utmost importance and facilitate on time / on budget project delivery.
• Effectively be able to articulate stakeholder needs and business requirements to the technical team members for delivery. Upon completion of technical team’s work, be able to demonstrate technology solutions obtained from the technical team to internal stakeholders.
• Build, create, and test solutions with the help of the technical team for company.
• Assist in creating and modifying Standard Operating Procedures for the company's delivery process.
• Define and create detailed functional requirements and solution designs.
• Work with technical teams to design, test, and lead customizations and/or integrations with NetSuite
• Conduct quality checks on deliverables developed by other members of the team.

Qualifications

• 1 to 4 years of experience supporting NetSuite
•  Skills as an administrator and/or functional/support analyst
• Basic understanding of Incident and Service Management.  ITIL certification is a plus.
• Experience in distribution and warehouse industries is a plus.
• NetSuite certification will be considered as an asset.
• Experience with Softeon WMS platform is a plus.
• Experience in the below modules will be considered as an asset:
  1. Financial Management
  2. Inventory Management
  3. Procurement Management
  4. Demand Planning

• Experience with Jira Software and Jira Service Management is a plus.
• Experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kan Ban is a plus.
• Available to be on-site in Huntersville, NC at least three days a week.
